As an Asian with a flat nose, I always make my skin tone looking bright in order to hide my facial weaknesses.

A useful way for me to protect my skin is away from the ultraviolet (UV) by using this folding parasol. In addition to deepening the skin tone and sunburn, direct UV exposure will also accelerate skin aging.

Since the back of the fabric is coated with polyurethane, it has a heat-shielding effect and the light-shielding rate is 99%. The most important thing is the 99.99% UV shielding rate. It is also water repellent and waterproof so I can use it in the rain.

In Hong Kong, the summer lasts for nearly six months and over 30 ℃ on every sunny day. Hence, I had taken this parasol with me every day in the summer when I was in Hong Kong. After moving to the UK, it is also very useful for a sudden rain shower.

This parasol was designed to be light and compact, sizing 17 × 6 × 2.5 cm after folded, weighing 180g only. It can be stored conveniently in my bag pocket or a small handbag.
